Service Excellence Guarantee

Bardon Trees Service Excellence Guarantee (SEG) Process

The Bardon Trees Service Excellence Guarantee (SEG) Process is our commitment to delivering safe, professional, and consistently high-quality arborist services on every job. Built around qualified expertise, clear communication, meticulous risk assessment, and absolute respect for your property, the SEG Process ensures that every client receives a predictable, stress-free experience from the moment they contact us to the final clean-up and follow-up. It is our promise of accountability, transparency, and care — and the reason homeowners, schools, councils, and commercial managers trust Bardon Trees as their long-term arborist partner.

Why the SEG Process Exists

Tree work is not a commodity service. It involves safety-critical decisions, technical skill, and real responsibility for people, property, and the environment. The Service Excellence Guarantee (SEG) Process exists to remove uncertainty from those decisions.

It is a defined, repeatable way of working that sets clear expectations before work begins — how risks are identified, how recommendations are made, how work is carried out, and how outcomes are verified.

By formalising this process, we ensure that quality and safety are consistent on every job, regardless of scale or complexity. This is particularly important for clients with duty-of-care responsibilities, but it benefits every property we work on.

The result is simple: clear advice, professional execution, and confidence that the work has been done properly.

Zero Damage Pledge

Extraordinary Care Where It Matters Most

Tree work often takes place close to homes, buildings, gardens, play areas, and active sites.
While all tree work carries inherent risk, how that risk is managed makes the difference between confidence and concern.

The Zero Damage Pledge exists to clearly state our commitment to protecting what matters while the work is carried out.

Our Zero Damage Pledge

At Bardon Trees, we take extraordinary care to protect your home, property, and outdoor spaces. When conditions allow and it is safe and appropriate to do so, we offer our Zero Damage Pledge.

If any part of your property is damaged as a direct result of our work, and the risk was within our control to manage, we will repair or restore it at no additional cost to you.

This pledge reflects our commitment to:

  • Safe, controlled dismantling techniques
  • Industry-best rigging and tree-handling methods
  • Protecting structures, fences, gardens, and lawns
  • Leaving your property clean, tidy, and in excellent condition

We stand by our workmanship, our professionalism, and our responsibility to treat every property with respect.

If we cause it — we fix it. That’s our promise.

How the Pledge Is Applied

The Zero Damage Pledge is not a blanket guarantee applied without consideration. It is applied where risks are reasonably foreseeable and within our control to manage.

Before work begins, we:

  • Assess site conditions and constraints
  • Identify controllable and uncontrollable risks
  • Explain protection measures and limitations clearly
  • Confirm whether the pledge applies to the scope of work
This ensures expectations are aligned and protection measures are deliberate, not assumed.

Why This Matters

Part of a Larger Commitment

The Zero Damage Pledge does not stand alone. It is embedded within our Service Excellence Guarantee (SEG) Process, which governs how risks are assessed, work is planned, and outcomes are verified.

Together, they form a clear standard for how Bardon Trees operates on every site.
